It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Parnello of Machesney Park, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Parnello and Sarah Parnello (Modica); and his pet Abby. He is survived by: his wife Pam Bauer; his children, Bethany Koslofski (Scott), Adam Parnello (Anna) and Carissa Parnello (Mark Johns); his grandsons, Benjamin, Evan, Seth (Joslyn) and Frank; his great grandchild Rose; his pet Bella; his close friends, Richard, Terry, Jim (Chris), Gary (Vicky) and Wally (Lana); and his caregiver Angie.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (600 Clifford Ave, Loves Park, IL 61111). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
