He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Brown and Katherine Brown; his siblings, Robin and Bruce; his great grandchild Isabelle Brown; and his significant other Mary Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Yates of Newton, NC; his sister Mary Forshay (Dave) of Rockford Il; his grandsons, Nicholas Brown (Lisa) of Clyde and Philip Futrell of Pecatonica, IL; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Futrell and Grayson Brown; and his former wife Valerie Gunderson.
