We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Kenneth K. Getty of Lyons, Illinois. He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Kenneth T., Christopher and Katie; and his sister Elizabeth Nelson. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

“My condolences to Kens family and friends. I was one of Kens friends during our school years and after sixty years reconnected by emails over this past year. I had planned to visit Ken this year on a trip from my home in Alabama to visit family in Illinois and was looking forward to talking about what we have been doing all this time. I know it would have been interesting because Ken was the exciting personality of our club. I was not surprised that Ken was a popular civic leader. God Bless Him.”
