Karen F. Nagy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2025, Karen F. Nagy of Lyons, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Oswald and Karolina Oswald; and her siblings, Joseph Oswald Jr. (Nancy), Anna MacDonald (late Stuart) and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her husband Les Nagy Sr.; her children, Lucy Vogt (late Mark) and Les Nagy Jr.; her granddaughters, Vicki Rousis, Krystal Heller (Austin) and Heather Vogt; her great grandchildren, Brantley, Savannah Heller and Nova Vogt; and her sisters, Helen Burke (late Mick) and Sylvia Oswald.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A prayer was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (Q54F+9C, 7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital, or St. Labre Indian School are greatly appreciated.
