He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucy Sanchez, Josephine Zarate, Adolph Lopez and Dolores Soto; and also Gloria Padilla-Lopez.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Eddy (Dale) and Lopez; and his sister Gloria Garza. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
