We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Rose Sharon Rhodes of Lyndon, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sanders and Lillian Sanders (Smith); her husband Earl T. Rhodes; and her siblings, Iva Smith, Margaret Stave, Janet Wadelton, Carol Lench, Charlie, Jerry, Sonny, Paul and Ernie Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Burks (Kevin) of Sterling, Lowell "Gus" Rhodes of Rock Falls and Gregory Rhodes (Christine) of Lyndon; her brother Frank Sanders (Shirley) of Sterling; her sisters-in-law, Linda Sanders of Sterling, Clara Sanders of Rock Falls, Becky Pettinger, Sue Bellini (Larry) of Rock Falls and Kathy Brown (Tom Walker) of Sterling; her grandchildren, Lucas Grove, Jake Grove, Keegan Wellman Derek Rhodes (Marissa), Dylan Rhodes (Kiara) and Logan Rhodes; and her great grandchild Linda Hermes of Sterling.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines only fifty people will be allowed into the funeral home at a time and masks will be required.
A memorial has been established to Gaffey Hospice.
