It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Ackeberg of Lyndon, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Johnston and Dorothy Johnston (Ellenwood); and her sister Shirley Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Ackeberg; and her children, Linda Wagner (James) of Schaumburg, IL, Janet DeJonge (Gene) of Sterling, IL, Helen Sovich (Mike) of Tampa Bay, FL and Glenn Ackeberg of Lyndon, IL. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Memorials to the Prophetstown United Methodist Church and the Rock River Hospice and Home have been established.
