She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Whitmer and Hazel M. Whitmer (Hahn); her husband Edward L. Hofstatter; and her siblings, Walter Whitmer, Kenny Whitmer, Evelyn Bland and Una Bibb.
She is survived by: her children, Marta Tucker (Tom) of Aldeo, IL, Herman Hofstatter of Lowpoint and Alan Hofstatter (Ruth) of Lowpoint; her siblings, Leslie Whitmer of Leroy, IL, Lois Miller of Eureka, IL, Loretta Bowald of Eureka, IL, Donald Whitmer (Floy) of Broomfield, CO and Mildred Groom of Westminster, CO; and her close friend Vachon Davidson of Washburn. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Washburn United Methodist Church, 106 East Water Street, Washburn, IL 61570.
