He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett E. Powell and Edna Malone Powell. He is survived by: his sons, Darren Powell (Angie) of Lovington and Matthew Powell (Michelle) of Olney; his grandchildren, Owen, Taylor, Carolyn, Michaela and Benjamin Powell; his sister Kaye Lancaster (Wilbur); his mother-in-law Betty Bolsen; and his brother-in-law Willis Bolsen (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
