He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon and Clara Esther Newberry (Beckenbridge); his son Randy; his children-in-law, Craig Fleener, Lewis Hallford, Chris and Kay; his grandson Ben Newberry; and his brother Gene Newberry.
He is survived by: his wife Nora of Lovington; his children, Kim Newberry of Lenzburg, Arlene Fleener of Lovington and Tina Hallford-Alender (Mike) of Lovington; and his siblings, Glenn Newberry of Lovington and Betty Harl of Charleston. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
