He was predeceased by: his father Jim Hays; and his stepfather Bud Woods. He is survived by: his mother Margie Woods (Minor) of Quincy; his stepmother Tina Hays of O'Fallon, MO; his daughter Darian Hays of Lovington; and his sister Lindsay Schreack (Duane) of Carthage.
