He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clem A. Buxton and Maurine McKown Buxton; his spouse Dansel Henderson Buxton; his children, Brian Buxton (Kay) of Lovington and Tracey Rich of Mahomet; his stepdaughters, Michelle Taylor (Brad) of Moorpark, CA, Angela Walker (Roger) of New Providence, IA and Jennifer Gaither (Scott) of Mt. Zion, IL; his grandchildren, Matt Rich (Brandie), Brian K. Buxton (Jennifer), Ryan Rich (Rochelle), Jamon Walker (Laura), Tess Rasmusson (Logan), Jordan Swett (Shayne), Wesley Taylor, Taylor Rich, Jacob Taylor, Austin Gaither (Taylor), MacKenzie Gaither and Sophie Gaither; and his sister Betty Stremming (Robert). He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Blaine lived with Alzheimers Disease for nine years and has donated his body to Science Care Research.
