He was predeceased by: his father J. C. Smith; and his grandmother Allie Townsend. He is survived by: his mother Sonya Stewart; his friend Ron Brewer; his daughters, Jennifer Thompson (Jamie Renk) and Melissa Peterson (Ken Rockwell); his grandsons, Dylan Thompson, Kaiden Renk and Alex Rockwell; and his siblings, Don Stewart (Robin) and Becky Larson (Ron). He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; cousins and special aunts.
