He was predeceased by: his father Robert Brooks; his brother Donta Howard; and his grandmother Virginia Wright. He is survived by: his mother Claresa Brooks (Clark); his wife Dawn Bonner; his stepfather Larry Wright; his children, Molly Alvarado (Edgar), Reginald Brooks Jr. (Corrina DeLacy), Jayden Brooks, Ian Palmquist, Brandon Bonner and Hayley Bonner; his grandchildren, Alillyana, Stella and Kehlani; his siblings, Bruce Brooks, Royal Brooks, Keith Brooks, Victoria Brooks, Larry, DeMarco Lambert, Aaron Wright and Katrina Chapman; his aunt Shirley Bondurant; his uncle Jerome Bondurant; and his close friend Elisa Temes. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
