It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Slayton of Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Daniel Williams, Harlan, Margaret Meyer, Homer and Lila Bruns.

He is survived by: his mother Miaake Driscoll, III (Donald); his siblings, Justin Slayton (Kelsey), Ashlie Slayton, Dylan Driscoll, Kaitlyn Driscoll and Kara Driscoll; his uncle Jason Bruns; his aunt Samantha Griffin (Shane); his nephew Noah Slayton; and his grandparents, Patricia Williams, Kathleen Driscoll, Donald Driscoll, Jr. (Deb) and Richard Bruns (Pam).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
