She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen W. and Blanche H. Mendel (Thornburg); her siblings, Warren Mendel, Marcia Joy Mendel and Mary Robinson; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Robinson and Charles Barker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Reynolds (James) of Loves Park and Denise Krup (Ken) of South Elgin; her grandchildren, Nathan Reynolds (Courtney) of Lansing, MI, Kaitlin Reynolds of Nashville, TN and Karissa Krup of South Elgin; her great grandchildren, Archer "Archie" Reynolds and Emery Reynolds; her siblings, Sue Farina (Jack) of Beloit, WI and David Mendel (Eleanor) of Madison, WI; and her sister-in-law Carol Barker of Shirland, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Alzheimer's Association for the great resources, and the staff at Highview in the Woodlands and Northern Illinois Hospice, for their care and compassion.
