It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Flodin of Loves Park, Illinois, born in Elizabeth, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edythe Ritchey and Lawrence Ritchey; her husband Jim; her children, Bill (Judi) and Debra Appelquist (David); her grandchildren, Amy Enna (Nino), Jason Appelquist (Heather), Chase (Alexandra), Grant Flodin and Riley Appino (Patrick); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Axel Appelquist, Eli, Ezabel Enna, James, Henry, Madelyn Flodin and Elliot Appino.
