She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Posey and Irene Posey (Schmitz); and her brothers, Robert and Gary. She is survived by: her brothers, Rick Posey (Linda) and Norman Hornung (Holly); and her cousin Donald Horning (Judy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Walker Mortuary (321 W Main St, Freeport, IL 61032). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Serenity Hospice Home.
