He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricio Romero and Adela Monroy; and his siblings, Ignacio, Patricia and Emma.
He is survived by: his wife Josefina López; his children, Jorge Romero, Santa Giacone (Luigi), Arturo Romero (Kimberly), Francisco Romero (Dianna), Alex and Norma Romero; his grandchildren, Nicholas Shook (Lizbeth), John, George, Santa Arvidson (Karl), María Brownfield (Brenton), Elena, Ariel Pérez (Stephanie), Alex Krasauskas, Caesar, Angela and Michael Gomez; and his sister Andrea Romero Monroy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family to establish at a later date.
