He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred O. Richmond and Lois Richmond (Iseman). He is survived by: his wife Vonna M. Wilson (Honeycutt); his children, Chuck Richmond (Susan), Steve Richmond (Beverly), Karen Wilson and Mike Wilson (Sharon); and his grandchildren, John Richmond (Katy), Nicholas Richmond (Kaylee), Jessica Lauer (Steve), Mike Wilson, Jr. (Brittany) and Bobby Wilson (Anna). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Journey Church (7825 Forest Hills Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Scandinavian Cemetery (1700 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107).
