With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome Dombrowski of Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Dombrowski and Cecilia Dombrowski (Tomaszewski); his brothers, Stanley, Robert and Raymond; his close friend John Joseph; and his pet Taggie.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his children, Jerry Dombrowski (Nicole) of Rockford, IL and RaeAnn Tonigan (Henry) of Denver, CO; his mother-in-law Joan Locascio; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Locascio and Philip Locascio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He received several fellowships through the National Science Foundation from University of California Berkeley, City College of New York, and University of Illinois College of Medicine.
