He was predeceased by: his father LaVern Kupietz. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Hermanson (Ives); his stepfather Duane Hermanson; his children, Sadie Kupietz and Mitchell Kupietz; his grandchildren, Charlee Ann and Branson Kupietz; and his siblings, Nancy Carey, DeAnn Knight (Todd) and David Hermanson (Lisa).
