He was predeceased by: his parents, Desire DeBaere and Maria L. DeBaere (Vandendriessche); and his siblings, Josephine Agostini (Mario) and John DeBaere (Martha). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Mark (Anne), Doreen (Jim), Denise and Dawn; his grandchildren, Tim, Crystal, Mark, Troy and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Paden, Owen, Evie and Bernard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Northern Illinois Blood Bank or St. Bridget Catholic Church.
