It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Derr of Loves Park, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nelson and Florence Nelson (Bennett); and her brother Roger C. Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Gail B. Derr and Stephen E. Derr (Cathy); her grandchildren, Lynette Collins (Todd) and Erik Derr; her great grandchildren, Emily Zielinski (Tyler), Taylor Derr, Sara Collins and Riley Collins; her grandson-in-law Todd Collins; and her friend Gary Larson (Donna).
