He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pixler and Dorma Pixler (Hutchinson); and his siblings, John, Jerry, Tommy and Ruth Pixler Boreham.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline; his sons, Kelly, John (Luci) and Marty (Chris); the mother of his children Patricia; and his stepson Wayne (Cindy). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home-Loves Park Chapel (4311 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
