It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Steffan of Loves Park, Illinois, born in Gordon, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Balcsik and Meri Balcsik (Varga); her husband Paul; and her siblings, Marie, Anna, Barbara, Rose, Margaret, Michael, Steven, Andrew and George.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Steffan of Loves Park, Raymond Steffan (Theresa Gaziano-Steffan) of Cherry Valley and Pamela Steffan of Spooner, WI; her grandson Paul J. Steffan of Houston, TX; and her sister Elizabeth Reinertson of Hermantown, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
