Elizabeth P. Gomez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2022, at the age of 64, Elizabeth P. Gomez of Loves Park, Illinois, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Francis and Elizabeth Ann Heafey; her husband Steven M Gomez; her son Sean M Gomez (Bella) of Rockford; her siblings, Richard Heafey (Betty Kay), Edward Heafey (Cindy), Thomas Heafey, William Heafey, Mary Heafey, Kathleen Real, Patricia Crowell, Anne Burgess, Theresa Clark (James) and Peggy Heafey; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmie Gomez (Precy), Rodney Gomez, Bebe Gomez, Lori Mangiameli (Mike) and Vicki Forrest (George). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Gift of Hope Community Foundation (giftofhope.org) where in Betty's final act of selflessness, she contributed.
