With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Steinkamp (Loves Park, Illinois), born in Otho, Iowa, who passed away on March 16, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Wright and Elizabeth Wright (George); her husband Frederick Eugene "Curly" Steinkamp; her son David Steinkamp; and her brothers, William Wright Jr. and Harold Wright.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Steinkamp (Michelle); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Steinkamp; her grandchildren, Debbie Donlea (Jason), Will Steinkamp (Bethany), Hillary Burren (Nathaniel), Hannah Knuth (Brian) and Craig Steinkamp; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Lauren, Cael, Caden and Easton; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wright and Joyce Wright. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers a memorial can be made to either the Alzeimers Foundation in her name or a donation may be sent to the family to be addressed to Lincolnshire Place, A Memory Care Facility located in Loves Park, IL.
