With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Carlson of Loves Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diane Carlson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Holm and Bernice Holm (Ludwig); her husband Steve; and her son Scott. She is survived by: her son Michael Carlson (Charlene); her grandchildren, Stephan Carlson (Esther), Jordan Carlson (Erica), Megan Eggert (Ryan), Annika Carlson and Seth Carlson; her great grandchildren, Alayna, Noah, Rebel, Raylan and Ryley; her brother Rick; her sister-in-law Nancy Holm; her cousins, Pat Holm and Barb Dittbenner; and her close friends, Gloria Brinker, Alice Anderson and Diane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (343 Grand Ave, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association.
