She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Freeman and Mildred Freeman (Karcher); her husband John S. Segalla; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Pelley (Larry) of Machesney Park, IL, Randy Segalla (Lisa) of Bonita Springs, FL, Rhonda Fletcher (Wayne) of Loves Park, IL, Renatta Meyer (Mike) of Machesney Park, IL, Roxanne Segalla of Loves Park, IL and Dianne Segalla of Loves Park, IL; her grandchildren, Tony Segalla, Aaron Pelley (Allison), Meghan Hawkinson (Mark), Caitlyn Segalla, Ryan Fletcher, Jaime Foreman (Damion), Michael Meyer, Eric Meyer (Jordynn), Jessica Pagel (Storm) and Emma Segalla; her great grandchildren, Molli, Mallori, Marek, Miles, Jayde, Aaliyah and Ayden; and her friends, John and Anita Costello. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carol's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
