He is survived by: his children, Cindy Pifer (Larry), Vida Koelker (Teddy), Sandra Tinker (Brad), Bobby M. Wells (Sandy), Gregg Wells (Liz) and Chris Wells (Shannon); and his sister Sharon Heberlein. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
