Heid (Loves Park, Illinois), born in Stockton, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Heid and Clara Heid (Brunner); his brothers, Eldon Heid (Lavonne) and Lowell Heid; his siblings-in-law, James Christopher and Doris Heid; his brother Loyal (Gloria); his brother-in-law Ray Sowers; his nephew Dennis Sowers; his niece Pam Lanman; and his nephew-in-law Nick Stengel.

He is survived by: his children, Terri A. Dull, Jeff Heid, Jill Burrow (Eathel) and Christopher Heid; his grandchildren, Jason Dull (Nichole Crane), Rebecca Dull, Jesse Burrow (Perla Cavazos) and Thomas Burrow; his great grandchild Rosalinda Burrow; his sister Marilyn Sowers; his brother Gordon Heid (Pat); his children, Robert Heid (Betty) and Julie Nielson; his niece Susan Stengel; his nephews, Steven Heid, Curtis Heid and Paul Lanman; his sisters-in-law, Jeannette Christopher and Mary Worley; and also Jerry Sowers (Patti). He is also survived by numerous great nieces: nephews and great-great nieces, nephews, and tons of cousins.

Alan loved going to county fairs with his grandchildren explaining the workings of a farm, it was not just because of Covid-19 that all the fairs were cancelled this year; the organizations knew Alan Heid would not be able to attend.
