She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Mary Smith; her siblings, William "Billy" Smith and Lois Regan (Jim); and her great grandchild Rose Elizabeth Keating.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth W. Barkhauer of Cleveland; and her sons, William "Bill" Barkhauer (Charlotte) of Peoria, AZ and Bruce A. Barkhauer (Laura) of Jeffersonville, IN. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
