It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Eugene Atchison of Louisville, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andie L. Atchison and Arline Atchison (Rockhold); his brother Bill Atchison; his son-in-law Perry Neu; and his siblings, Arnold, Bob, Ray Atchison and Iva Louise Moats.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Bissey of Arthur, IL, Sue Doyle of Arthur, IL and Mary Ellison (Frank) of Sullivan, IL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Russell's memory to the Louisville American Legion Post 914.
