He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Frazier and Lela Fender; his daughter Peggy Louise Fender; and his brothers, Eugene Frazier, John Mitchell and Junior Fender.
He is survived by: his spouse Nevada "Peggy" Johnson; his children, Luther Dale Fender Jr (Debbie) of Clay City and Elizabeth Ann Albert of Xenia; his brothers, Richard Frazier of Nokomis and Terry Mitchell of Xenia; and his grandchildren, Joey Fender (Mandy), Jessica McKinney (Chris), Joshua Albert (Amy), Bradley Albert (Jessica), Molly Pyatt and Austen Wildbur. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and step great-great-grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews and good friends.
