It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lou Cochran (Louisville, Illinois), born in Keenes, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel Wood and Zoe Bethel Thomason (McQueen); her son Charles Wood Chad Cochran; and her sister Donna Kay Crocker. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Cochran of Louisville; her daughters, Tammy Lou Gentry of Louisville and Ronda Genë Cochran of Effingham; her grandchildren, Tara Jené Ratcliff of Lexington, Nathaniel Tad Ratcliff (Rachel Lindle) of Lexington, Ronald Edward Gentry III of Lexington and Susan Alexandra Brown (Ryan) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Paxton Ray Brown and Kingston Crawford Brown; her siblings, Noel Wood Thomason (Gwen) of Keenes and Vickie Lynn Porter (Gene) of Wayne City; and her friend Nicola Wattles of Louisville.

It was Lou's wish that the preferred form of remembrance in lieu of flowers or gifts would be for memorial contributions to be made to the Clay County Cancer Support Group.
