She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Specht and Leitha Specht (Van Dyke); her spouse James "Jim" E. Fleener; and her siblings, Eugenia Roley and Everett Specht.

She is survived by: her children, James Fleener (Diana) of Louisville, Stephen Fleener (Sherry) of Louisville and Janet Fehrenbacher (Neal) of Flora; her grandchildren, LaDonna Poehler (Marty), Christina Clifton (Craig), Brian Fleener (April), Justin Fleener (Susan), Jerod Fleener (Kim), Chris Fleener (Amy) of Effingham, Stephanie Shoaff (Matt) of Shelbyville, Aaron Cummins (Holly) of Flora and Anthony Cummins of Louisville; and her great grandchildren, Ellie and Italian.
