He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrison Haines and Susan M. Haines (McGeehon); and his brothers, Bill Haines and Jim Haines. He is survived by: his wife Rita Haines of Louisville; his children, Jodi Schneider of Olney, Andy Haines (Erin) of Spring Hill and Kyle Haines of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandchildren, Avery, Braden Schneider of Olney, Hannah, Katie and Jace Haines of Spring Hill; his sisters, Carolyn Blanton (John) of East Peoria, Patsy Brewer (Jim) of Vandalia and Jeanne Duke (David) of Louisville, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Tom McGee (Nancy) of Louisville, Terry Birch (Carole) of Louisville and Marla Groves of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
