It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Cox of Louisville, Illinois, born in Flora, Illinois, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles H. Payne; her father-in-law Carl Wayne Cox; and her sister-in-law Becky Payne. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Payne (Bowen) of Flora; her husband Darrell Cox of Louisville; her children, Abby Frohling (Danny) of Flora and Curtis Wayne Cox of Baltimore; her grandchildren, Emma and Eli Frohling; her siblings, Danny Payne (Dodie) of Flora, Rebecca Payne of Flora and Ricky Payne of Flora; her mother-in-law Marilyn Cox of Flora; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Hardy (Randy) of Clay City, Sandy Gansauer (Brian) of Salem and Carla Hildebrand (Travis) of Louisville; her aunts, Lorene Steele, Elsie Hinkle and Zelda Devore; her uncle Warren Kilpatrick; and her close friend Linda Knapp. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
