He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Ballard and Mary Geneva Ballard (Glardon); his wife Cora Jane Coombes; his son Tommy Ballard; his son-in-law Michael Traub; and his sisters, Betty Vest, Mary Smock and Nellie VanDyke.
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Traub of Mason, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tonni Micklautz (Michael), Justin Traub (Tammy), Jennifer Billingsley (Kevin) and Ryan Ballard (Crystal); his great grandchildren, Nathan Micklautz, Abigail Micklautz, Stetsen Traub (Hailey), Clayten Traub, Matthew Billingsley, Elizabeth Logan (Jakob), Hanna Ballard, Collyn Ballard, Miah Ballard and William Ballard; and his great great grandchild Michael Parks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Benny's memory to the North Clay FFA.
