With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Fluech (Lostant, Illinois), who passed away on December 22, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fluech and Jean Fessler (Burns); his stepfather Wayne Fessler; his siblings, Michael, Kevin Fluech and Mary Wilson; his grandsons, Michael and Lucas Decker; and his father-in-law Harold Schafer.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Schafer; his friend Bill Jaegle; his children, Angie Paxton (Glenn) of Marseilles, Becky Schmillen of Lostant, Corinne Decker (Jim) of Olney, Rob Fluech (Kathy) of Lostant and Connie Knopp (Jake) of Marseilles; his siblings, Howard Fluech of LaSalle, Gerard Fluech (Connie) of Indiana and Ellen Fluech of Toluca; and his mother-in-law Germaine. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
