He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Smith and Barba Smith (Lashbrook); and his son Perry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Robin; his sons, Michael Gene Jr. Smith (Tracy) of Marseilles and Raymond Smith (Ally) of Streator; and his siblings, Betty Jo Smith, Eddie and Bobby Smith. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
