He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. McKenzie and Bertha McKenzie (Fitzpatrick); his siblings, Shirley, Robert McKenzie and Richard McKenzie; and his close friend Beverly Hoag.

He is survived by: his niece Charmayne McKenzie; and his nephews, Richard McKenzie, John McKenzie, Dan McKenzie and Todd McKenzie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ransom Grade School, Harold McKenzie Gym Restoration Plan, 400 S. Lane St., Ransom, IL 60470.
