Eugene Heider Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Heider of Lostant, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Heider and Louise Heider (Arenz); his wife Phyllis E. Moore; his son Ronald Heider; his stepgrandson Zachary Humphries; and his siblings, Roy Heider, Richard Heider, Russell Heider, Doris Barr, Janet Strode and Maxine Brierly.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Heider (Linda) of Washington, Mary Kay Kozak (Syl Janusick) of Oglesby, Jean Gentert (Jim) of LaSalle, Nancy DeRubeis (Steve) of Wenona, Jacqueline Actis (Max) of Spring Valley, James Heider (Sue) of Oglesby, Robert Heider (Denise) of Tonica and Susanne Humphries (Gregg) of Gilbert, AZ; his daughter-in-law Charlene Heider of Peru; his siblings, Alan Heider (Joyce) of Streator, Joann Henderson of Geneseo and Donna Smaling of Bloomington; his mothers-in-law, Deanna Whiteaker (Larry) of Ottawa, Bess Moore of Granville and Marge Moore of Peru; and his grandsons, Derek, Brandon, Brock, Blake, Brent, Brooks, Eric, Kyle, Kurt, Michael Heider, Tom, Luke Kozak, Jeff, Brad Gentert, Jeremy and Marcus Camatti. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending services are kindly asked to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. John the Baptist Church, Lostant or to the donor's choice.
