Doris C. (Heider) Barr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2020, at the age of 97, Doris C. (Heider) Barr (Lostant, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris C. (Heider) Barr to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Heider and Louise Heider (Arenz); her husband Emmett; her daughter Edna; and her siblings, Janet Strode, Maxine Brierly, Richard, Russell and Roy Heider.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alan Heider (Joyce) of Streator, Eugene "Snick" Heider of Lostant, Joanne Henderson (Robert) of Geneseo and Donna Smaling of Normal; her nephew Cary Brierly of Lostant; and her niece Mary Kay Kozak of Oglesby. She is also survived by 41 nieces and nephews; 172 great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 11:00 a. m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Lostant with the Franciscan Friars Officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lostant Ambulance Service or to the donor's choice.
