He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gerard and Ethel Gerard (Peterson); and his siblings, Donald, Merwin Gerard and Norma Gerard.
He is survived by: his wife Kathi of LaSalle; his children, Angela Holloway of LaSalle and Mark Gerard (Deanna) of Saucier, MS; and his brother Gene Gerard of Bradford. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
