He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Allen and Marie Allen (McLellan); his wife Barbara Eckel; and his brothers, James Allen and Terrence Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Fogal (John), Christopher Allen and Julie Harrell (Stephen); his grandchildren, Connor, Braeden and Finley Harrell; and his sisters, Nancy Farrell (Clark) and Patricia Allen. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
