It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lavelle of Long Grove, Illinois, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Lavelle (Norma Lavelle Kennedy); his aunt Margaret Sullivan; his uncle Louis Sullivan (Buck); and his sister Amy Lavelle. He is survived by: his mother Norma Perry Lavelle; his wife Maureen Lavelle; his children, Meghan McKee (Preston) and Logan Lavelle; and his siblings, Nancy Lavelle (late Glenn Pavone), Beth Lavelle, Ronald Kennedy, Jr. (Mary Ann), Bonita Lavelle, Donald Kennedy (Barbara), Kevin Lavelle (Lisa), Jeffrey Kennedy (Kristin) and Karen Lavelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to ALS United Greater Chicago or Vitas Healthcare.
