Vera Combs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2023, at the age of 77, Vera Combs of London Mills, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin L. Galbreath and Margaret Galbreath (Lundeen); her spouse Dean Combs; and her sister Joyce Carson. She is survived by: her sons, Roger Combs of London Mills, Gary Combs of London Mills and Lowell Combs (Shirley) of Trenton, IL.; her grandchildren, Jason D. Combs, Christina M. McSwain (Jason E.), Ryan L. Combs (Lindsey) and Seth M. Combs; her great grandchildren, Ayden Combs and Kyrie Combs; and her siblings, Janet Nelson (Gene), Jeanne Harris (Ray), Judy Remer (Don) and Dick Galbreath (Gail). She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
