He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Brashear and Gladys Brashear (Welch); and his siblings, Doris Taylor (Harlan), Clara Cable (Stuart), Evelyn Cabrera (Jesse) and Bill Brashear (Joan).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Bixby of London Mills, IL; his daughter Rhonda Bugos; his grandchildren, Acacia Knox (Dustin), Brittany McLaren (Zech), Hannah Bugos, Olivia Bugos and Zackary Bugos; his great grandchildren, Lily, Rune, Linus Knox, Oscar, Cooper and Campbell McLaren; and his sister Mildred Nelson (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to social distancing limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation and there will be a private family graveside.
Memorials may be made to the London Mills United Methodist Church.
